- How Roles, Groups, Permissions Work under the Webtop — The user / role system in FarCry might seem complicated at first, but it is at least logical. There are many users, each of which can belong to any number of groups.
- Object specific permissions — Object specific permissions are permissions that apply to each instance of a type. Navigation is an example of this: you can deny view access to a part of your website simply by changing the permissions for that Navigation item in the site tree.

Hi i am just starting to use farcry and are following the farcry 4.0 course as provided by daemon.
I know this is an outdated course especially as i use farcry 5.0, but the basics seem very useful to grasp and still the same.
Update - There is farcry 5 jumpstart course released that gives you all you need to know to start with farcry 5:
